THE ISSUE
Strong ocean accelerations and underwater currents pose significant threats to sensitive maritime equipment, such as sensors and communication networks. EOM partnered with McLane to solve this problem.
THE SOLUTION AND TECHNOLOGY
EOM Offshore and McLane Engineering are working together to create an Environmental Sampling Processor (NSF MRI grant). The processor is a highly sensitive instrument that is mounted on a strong, stable platform that can isolate it from the strong accelerations and underwater currents imposed by the sea.
