EOM Offshore offers two unique solutions for electromechanical cables.  The Meco Cable is a mechanically compliant electromechanical cable made out of a proprietary blend of rubber.  The design of the Meco isolates rough conditions from other sections in the mooring line, while providing continuous real-time data and power.  This creates an optimal platform for passive acoustic monitoring, for example and reduces the risk of failure.

Unlike the Meco, the Nocomec Cable is a non-compliant electromechancial cable. It is a quiet chain that provides strength and stability and an electrical pathway for real-time data and power.
