Unlike rigid mooring components, responds to ocean forces by stretching, cutting down shock loads, reducing fatigue, and enabling safe transfer of power, data, and even freshwater between the surface and the subsea. This makes it ideal for wave-energy converters, environmental monitoring buoys, aquaculture cages, and offshore wind systems.
